Bioactivity Futoquinol is a neolignan isolated from the dried aerial parts of Piper kadsura (Piperaceae). Futoquinol potently inhibits NO production in microglia cells. Futoquinol has anti-neuroinflammatory activities[1].
Invitro Futoquinol potently inhibits NO production with an IC50 value of 16.8 μM in LPS-activated BV-2 cells, a microglia cell line[1].
