Bioactivity | Folate-FTIC (EC-17) is a folic acid derivative that binds to fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) to give it fluorescent labeling properties. Folate-ftic is used to induce the formation of pseudo-immunological synapses between anti-FITC CAR T cells and target cells expressing Folate receptors (FRα or FRβ). Folate-FTIC can be used to develop controlled CAR-T cell therapies for research in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)[1]. |
