Bioactivity Evybactin is a DNA gyrase inhibitor. Evybactin is a selective inhibitor of Mycobacterium tuberculosis with a MIC value of 0.25 µg/mL. Evybactin is the first antimicrobial compound found to employ this unusual mechanism of selectivity[1].
