Bioactivity Evogliptin hydrochloride (DA-1229 hydrochloride) is an orally active dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitor. By suppressing the activity of the DPP-4, Evogliptin hydrochloride increases the levels of endogenous GLP-1, improves insulin resistance, and decreases blood glucose levels. Evogliptin hydrochloride is utilized in the research of type 2 diabetes mellitus[1].
