Bioactivity Erythrodiol is an olive oil component. Erythrodiol promotes Cholesterol efflux (ChE) by selectively inhibiting the degradation of ABCA1 protein. Erythrodiol is a good candidate to be further explored for therapeutic or preventive application in the context of atherosclerosis[1].
