Bioactivity | Didesmethylsibutramine (BTS 54-505) hydrochloride is the primary amine metabolite of Sibutramine (antidepressant and anti-obesity agent). Didesmethylsibutramine hydrochloride inhibits NMDA-evoked activity. Didesmethylsibutramine hydrochloride is also a reuptake inhibitor. Didesmethylsibutramine hydrochloride induces thermogenesis[1][2]. |
