Bioactivity Denotivir (Vratizolin) is an orally active antiviral agent for herpes simplex virus (HSV) and varicella-zoster virus (VZV). Denotivir inhibits the proliferation of various cancer cells, and exhibits anti-leukemic activity. Denotivir inhibits the generation of TNF-α, IL-1 and IL-6, exhibits immunosuppressive efficacy[1].
