Bioactivity Dehydrocrenatidine, a β-carboline alkaloid that can be isolated from Picrasma quassioides. Dehydrocrenatidine induces cell apoptosis by activates ERK and JNK. Dehydrocrenatidine inhibits invasion and migration of cancer cells, it also suppresses neuronal excitability to exert analgesic effects[1][2].
