Bioactivity | Cyperine is a phytotoxic fungal metabolite that has been found in A. cypericola. It inhibits A. thaliana enoyl-acyl carrier protein reductase (ENR; IC50=89 μM). Cyperine induces necrosis in a panel of nine plant species in a leaf bioassay and inhibits root growth in A. thaliana seedlings (IC50=38.4 μM). |
