Bioactivity | Coixenolide can be isolated from coix seeds, and exhibits anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor and pain-reducing activities. Coixenolide stimulates the lung, heart, striated and smooth muscles at low doses, while inhibits at high doses. Coixenolide dilates pulmonary veins and improves pulmonary blood circulation[1]. |
