Bioactivity Citrullinated LL-37 5cit is a citrullinated LL-37 (HY-P1222) peptide. The antiviral and antibacterial effects of Citrullinated LL-37 5cit are significantly reduced compared to native LL-37. Citrullinated LL-37 5cit is unable to reduce LPS-mediated release of TNF-α due to a lack of LPS-binding capacity[1].
