Bioactivity Camostat is an orally active trypsin inhibitor. Camostat can reduce pancreatic fibrosis induced by repeated administration of superoxide dismutase inhibitors in rats, and decrease the proliferation and activation of pancreatic stellate cells (PSCs)[1].
