Bioactivity | CTL-06 is an inhibitor of Fatty Acid Synthase (FASN) (IC50: 3 μM) and can induce apoptosis. CTL-12 blocks the cell cycle in the Sub-G1/S phase, upregulates the expression of caspase-9 and the apoptosis marker Bax, and downregulates the anti-apoptotic marker Bcl-xL. CTL-12 inhibits de novo lipogenesis, blocks the metabolic demands of tumor cells, and is commonly used in breast and colorectal cancer research[1]. |
