| Bioactivity | CP94253 is a selective, orally active agonist for serotonin receptor 1B (5-HT1B), through competitive binding with iodocyanopindolol (ICP) to the 5-HT1 receptor. CP94253 binds to the 5-HT1B, 5-HT1A, 5-HT1D, 5-HT1C and 5-HT2 receptors, with Kis of 2, 89, 49, 860 and 1600 nM. CP94253 causes satiety, anorexia, weight loss and hyperlocomotion in rats model[1]. |
