Bioactivity | Brassicanate A sulfoxide has herbicidal activity. Brassicanate A sulfoxide inhibits the biosynthesis of essential amino acids in plants. Brassicanate A sulfoxide binds to dihydroxyacid dehydratase (DHAD), hydroxymethylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD), acetolactate synthase (ALS), PYL family proteins and transport inhibitor response 1 (TIR1), and reduces their activity. Brassicanate A sulfoxide can be isolated from Brassica oleracea[1]. |
