Bioactivity | Bitis Cornuta Venom (Many-horned Adder Venom) is a snake venom that can be obtained from Bitis Cornuta. Bitis Cornuta Venom contains snake venom phospholipase A2 (sPLA2) toxins. sPLA2 has anticoagulant activity through the inhibition of the prothrombinase complex. sPLA2 induces clot formation by converting prothrombin to thrombin[1]. |
