Bitis Cornuta Venom contains snake venom phospholipase A2 (sPLA2) toxins. sPLA2 has anticoagulant activity through the inhibition of the prothrombinase complex. sPLA2 induces clot formation by converting prothrombin to thrombin[1]. |
