Bicuculline methiodide reduces the Apamin-sensitive afterhyperpolarization, while Apamin is a toxin isolated from bee venom to block small conductance Ca2+ -activated K+ channels. Bicuculline methiodide facilitates burst firing via blocking apamin-sensitive Ca2+ -activated K+ current[1]. |
