Bioactivity Benzydamine is a locally-acting nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug with local anaesthetic and analgesic properties; selectively binds to prostaglandin synthetase. Benzydamine can inhibit tumor necrosis factor-α, stabilize cell membranes, and reduce oxidative stress in cells[1].
