Bioactivity	Autophagy inducer 6 (Compound 3) inhibits the production of ROS and RNS through inhibition of COX-1 (IC50=15.3 µM) and COX-2 (IC50=4.58 µM). Autophagy inducer 6 generates the formation of autophagosomes, and induces autopagy as a cell protection mechanism. Autophagy inducer 6 induces mild apoptosis. Autophagy inducer 6 inhibits cancer cell MC38, HCT116 and HCT29 with IC50s of 9.5, 11.5 and 17.6 µM, respectively[1].
