Bioactivity Strontium atorvastatin is a cholesterol-lowering drug with activity in ameliorating cardiovascular disease-related events. Strontium atorvastatin exerts its biological activity by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase in liver tissue. Strontium atorvastatin is also used to suppress dyslipidemia[1].
