Bioactivity Agaridoxin (GDHB) is a blocker of catecholamine and adrenergic alpha-type receptors isolated from mushrooms. Agaridoxin activates adenylyl cyclase in rat hypothalamic membrane granules in the presence of guanosyl imide diphosphate (Gpp(NH)p)[1].
