Invitro Adenosine 5'-succinate (5.0 mM) potently inhibits denatonium benzoate (DEN)/taste receptor activation of transducin. Adenosine 5'-succinate may bind to bitter-responsive taste receptors to serve as naturally occurring taste modifier[1].
