Bioactivity 5-Hydroxymethyl tolterodine (formate) (PNU-200577 (formic)) is an active metabolite of the muscarinic acetylcholine receptor antagonists Tolterodine (HY-A0024) and Fesoterodine (HY-70053). 5-Hydroxymethyl tolterodine (formate) is formed from tolterodine by the cytochrome P450 (CYP) isoform CYP2D6 and from fesoterodine by plasma esterases.
