Bioactivity 3-Hydroxyquinine is a metabolite of Quinidine (HY-B1751). 3-Hydroxyquinine prevents ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia after coronary reperfusion in an isolated rat heart reperfusion arrhythmia model in a concentration-dependent manner. 3-Hydroxyquinine can be used in the study of cardiac arrhythmias[1].
