Bioactivity 2-Deoxy-L-ribose is a stereoisomer of 2-Deoxy-d-ribose that inhibits 2-Deoxy-d-ribose anti-apoptotic effects. 2-Deoxy-L-ribose suppresses metastasis of tumor cells overexpressing thymidine phosphorylase[1].
