Bioactivity | 15(R)-Lipoxin A4 (15-epi-LXA4) is a STAT-6 activator and a lipid-derived lipoxin-type specialized pro-resolving mediator (SPM) that plays a role in promoting inflammation resolution and regulating immune cell function. 15(R)-Lipoxin A4 can improve the phagocytic function of microglia and exhibits anti-inflammatory activity. In Alzheimer's disease (AD) mouse models, 15(R)-Lipoxin A4 improves AD-like pathology. 15(R)-Lipoxin A4 holds potential for use in inflammation and neurodegenerative disease research[1]. |
