Bioactivity | 13-HPOT, a linolenic fatty acid hydroperoxide, is an antibacterial agent. 13-HPOT has a strong dose response effect on three plant pathogen gram negative bacteria: Pectobacterium carotovorum, Pseudomonas syringae and Xanthomonas translucens. 13-HPOT can interact with the lipid representative of the inner bacterial plasma membrane[1]. |
