Bioactivity 1-Hydroxyrutaecarpine (compound 1a) is a hydroxy-derivative of rutaecarpine. 1-Hydroxyrutaecarpine shows cytotoxicities with ED50s of 3.72, 7.44 µg/mL for P-388 and HT-29 cells, respectively. 1-Hydroxyrutaecarpine shows antiplatelet activity[1][2][3].
