Description Syntide 2 also called Calmodulin-Dependent Protein Kinase Substrate, a Ca2+- and calmodulin (CaM)-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII) substrate peptide, selectively inhibits the gibberellin (GA) response, leaving constitutive and abscisic acid-regulated events unaffected. The sequence of syntide 2 is homologous to phosphorylation site 2 in glycogen synthase.
