Description | SAMS Peptide also called (Ser77,Arg87.88)-ACC-α (74-88) (dephosphorylated) (bovine, ovine), (Ser76,Arg86.87)-ACC-α (73-87) (dephosphorylated) (E. coli, rat), (Ser77,Arg87.88)-Acetyl-CoA Carboxylase 1 (74-88) (dephosphorylated) (bovine, ovine), (Ser76,Arg86.87)-Acetyl-CoA Carboxylase 1 (73-87) (dephosphorylated) (E. coli, rat), is a substrate for AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK). Phosphorylated rapidly by AMPK, it is more specific for the kinase than acetyl CoA carboxylase itself, and provides a convenient and sensitive assay for AMPK. |
