| Description | [OM00-3]r9 also called [OM00-3]DR9, is a memapsin-2 (β-secretase) inhibitor consisting of the transition-state inhibitor of memapsin-2, OM00-3, (Ki = 0.31 nM) covalently linked to a nine-residue poly D-arginine carrier protein. [OM00-3]r9 (ELDLpsi[CHOH-CH2]AVEFGGr9) was shown to penetrate the plasma membrane of cultured cells and to inhibit production of amyloid β-protein. |
