anti-TNBC agent-1 is a potent anti-triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) agent. anti-TNBC agent-1 displays potent activity against different breast cancer cells, with IC50s ranging from 0.20 μM to 0.27 μM. anti-TNBC agent-1 causes apoptosis in SUM-159 cells through the mitochondrial pathway and causes G1 arrest in SUM-159 cells.

Biological Activity


ln Vitro anti-TNBC agent-1 (compound 7) has strong effects on MDA-MB231, SUM-159, MCF-7, Bcap-37, and 4T1 cells, with IC50 values between 0.20 and 0.27 μM. With IC50 values of 2.68-4.63 μM, anti-TNBC agent-1 exhibits an improvement of 11.6–18.5 times when compared to the parent chemical parthenolide. Compared to Adriamycin (ADR), the positive control medication, anti-TNBC agent-1, is more effective[1]. Comparing the induction of cell apoptosis with parthenolide, anti-TNBC agent -1 (2 μM and 5 μM; 48 hours; SUM-159 cells) shows a significantly higher effect[1]. Comparing anti-TNBC agent-1's cytotoxicity against breast cancer cells (IC50 = 0.22 μM) to 3T3 cells (IC50 = 8.13 μM), it is clear which agent is more selective[1].

Example: Take the Oral Formulation 1 (Suspend in 0.5% CMC Na) as an example, if 100 mL of 2.5 mg/mL working solution is to be prepared, you can first prepare 0.5% CMC Na solution by measuring 0.5 g CMC Na and dissolve it in 100 mL ddH2O to obtain a clear solution; then add 250 mg of the product to 100 mL 0.5% CMC Na solution, to make the suspension solution (2.5 mg/mL, ready for use in animals).
Oral Formulation 3: Dissolved in PEG400
Oral Formulation 4: Suspend in 0.2% Carboxymethyl cellulose
