Biological Activity

ln Vitro α2β1 Integrin Ligand Peptide (DGEA) TFA (0.015-2.0 mM) has no effect on CRW-8 infectivity but suppresses SA11, RRV, and Wa infection in a dose-dependent manner [1]. At doses ≥0.5 mM, α2β1 Integrin Ligand Peptide TFA causes calcium mobilization in osteoblasts and fibroblasts in a tyrosine kinase-dependent manner [1]. At 1.0 mM, α2β1 Integrin Ligand Peptide TFA can no longer prevent SA11 binding [1].

Solubility Data

Solubility (In Vitro) May dissolve in DMSO (in most cases), if not, try other solvents such as H2O, Ethanol, or DMF with a minute amount of products to avoid loss of samples
Solubility (In Vivo) Solubility in Formulation 1: 20 mg/mL (39.65 mM) in PBS (add these co-solvents sequentially from left to right, and one by one), clear solution; with sonication.

(Please use freshly prepared in vivo formulations for optimal results.)
Preparing Stock Solutions 1 mg 5 mg 10 mg
1 mM 1.9827 mL 9.9134 mL 19.8267 mL
5 mM 0.3965 mL 1.9827 mL 3.9653 mL
10 mM 0.1983 mL 0.9913 mL 1.9827 mL
*Note: Please select an appropriate solvent for the preparation of stock solution based on your experiment needs. For most products, DMSO can be used for preparing stock solutions (e.g. 5 mM, 10 mM, or 20 mM concentration); some products with high aqueous solubility may be dissolved in water directly. Solubility information is available at the above Solubility Data section. Once the stock solution is prepared, aliquot it to routine usage volumes and store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze and thaw cycles.
