Resolvin D2 n-3 DPA is a specialized prolytic mediator (SPM). Resolvin D2 n-3 DPA (1 nM) reduces TNF-α-induced chemotaxis and adhesion of human neutrophils. Resolvin D2 n-3 DPA (100 ng/mouse; intravenous injection) reduces peritoneal neutrophil infiltration and extravasation of IL-6 and chemokine (CC motif) ligand 2 (CCL2) in a mouse model of zinc oxide-induced inflammation.
