AB-161 is an orally available HBV RNA destabilizer and PAPD5/7 inhibitor, which acts primarily in the liver. AB-161 treats hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection by reducing the level of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), with an EC50 value of 2.2 nM for HBsAg. AB-161 can be used in the field of HBV infection research.
