| Description | Unifiram is a cognition-enhancer. Unifiram induces a long-lasting increase in the amplitude of field excitatory postsynaptic potentials (fEPSPs) in the rat hippocampal CA1 region (EC50= 27 nM) and increases acetylcholine (ACh) release in the rat cerebral cortex. |
| In vivo | Unifiram（0.1 mg kg1 i.p.）能够防止由东莨菪碱（0.8 mg kg1 i.p.）引起的大鼠Morris水迷宫测试中的遗忘。在大鼠社会学习测试中，给成年大鼠注射Unifiram（0.1 mg kg1 i.p.）能减少在测试的第二阶段对熟悉伙伴的主动探索时间。与piracetam类似，Unifiram减少了由pentobarbital引起的催眠时间。在最高有效剂量下，所研究的化合物既不影响运动协调能力（旋转木马测试），也不改变自发行为（Animex）[2]。 |
