Description Leteprinim (AIT 082 acid) is an hypoxanthine derivative that stimulates in vitro neurite outgrowth and the production of adenosine and neurotrophins from astrocytes.
In vitro Leteprinim促进PC12细胞和神经元的神经突起生长,刺激星形细胞合成和/或释放神经营养因子,增强体内神经纤维再生,并在动物和人类中增强记忆力。Leteprinim还能抵抗体内外谷氨酸神经毒性,这导致了在急性中枢神经系统损伤动物模型中Leteprinim的成功测试[3]。
In vivo Leteprinim(每天60mg/kg;腹腔内注射,连续7天,自开腰果酰胺注射前20分钟开始)并未改变开腰果酰胺引起的癫痫发作,但像地西泮一样,减少了开腰果酰胺诱发的大鼠死亡率、GAD活性的降低以及海马神经元的损失[2]。
