Description Gadoxetate Disodium is used to evaluate focal liver lesions, such as hepatocellular carcinoma or liver metastasis on T1-weighted imaging. It is a contrast agent in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the hepatobiliary system. It accumulates in normal, functioning hepatocytes.
