Description CHAPS is a zwitterionic nondenaturing detergent for solubilizing membrane proteins.
In vitro CHAPS洗涤剂对膜蛋白质是非变性的,能够溶解蛋白质、解聚蛋白-蛋白相互作用,并且电性中性。CHAPS在离子交换色谱和等电聚焦中也很有用,因为它是两性离子的,从pH 2到12之间不呈现净电荷。CHAPS的临界胶束浓度为6-10mM。
