Description Camalexin is a phytoalexin isolated from Camelina sativa. It has antifungal, antibacterial, antiproliferative, and anticancer activities. Camalexin can induce ROS production.
In vitro Camalexin 对人类乳腺癌细胞系表现出抗增殖活性。对于卵菌门真菌Phytophthora和Pythium,Nep1-like蛋白是Camalexin合成和活性氧(ROS)形成的初始诱导因素。活性氧被普遍认为与Camalexin形成密切相关。在筛选对Alternaria brassicicola敏感性增强的过程中,识别出esa1突变体,该突变体显示出Camalexin诱导的延迟。在响应诱导ROS的试剂时,合成了减少的Camalexin水平。ESA1的关键作用通过esa1突变体在响应Leptosphaeria maculans时无法合成Camalexin的事实得到了确认[2]。
