| Description | AZD8329 is a selectable and potent inhibitor of human recombinant 11β-HSD1 and isolated human adipocyte 11ß-HSD1 and is an inhibitor of rat 11β-HSD1 (IC50 - 89nM) and dog recombinant 11β-HSD1. AZD8329 has a higher affinity for 11β-HSD1 than human recombinant 11β-HSD2 and 17 AZD8329 has the ability to reduce the activity of 11β-HSD1 in adipose tissue and liver samples. |
