Description Alovudine (3'-Deoxy-3'-fluorothymidine) is a marker of DNA synthesis. Alovudine is less susceptible to inflammatory changes than 18F-Fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) and is a better biomarker in pancreatic cancer.
