Bioactivity | Sanazole (AK-2123) is a hypoxic cell radiosensitizer that enhances radiation-induced DNA strand breaks and, in mouse fibroblastomas, enhances radiation-induced apoptosis by increasing nuclear condensation and fragmentation and increasing caspase-3 activity. Sanazole can be used in tumor therapy research[1][2]. |
