Bioactivity ST-1006 maleate is a potent histamine H4 receptor agonist with a pKi value of 7.94. ST-1006 maleate has anti-inflammatory effect[1][2].
Invitro ST-1006 (10 μM) maleate is a potent inducer of basophil migration and induces migration of basophils[2].ST-1006 (0-100 μM) maleate suppress FceRImediated basophil activation and reduces the CD63 and CD203c expression levels on FceRI-activated basophils[2].
In Vivo ST-1006 (1-100 mg/kg; s.c.; Male CD-1 mice) maleate has anti-inflammatory effect and displays an antipruritic effect[1]. Animal Model:
