Bioactivity | Nirvanol is a metabolite of Mephenytoin (HY-B1184) that exerts anticonvulsant effects in the Maximal Electroshock (M.E.S.) seizure model in mice. The ED50 of Nirvanol is 23 mg/kg (measured 30 minutes after intraperitoneal injection) and 30 mg/kg (measured 2 hours after intraperitoneal injection). Nirvanol shows potential for research in epilepsy-related neurological disorders[1]. |
