Bioactivity Etozolin (W-2900A) is a diuretic agent. Etozolin inhibits fluid and electrolyte reabsorption in the loop of Henle. Etozolin can be used in research of congestive heart failure, hypertension and edema[1].
In Vivo Etozolin (W-2900A; 50 mg/kg; i.v.; once; sprague dawley rats) increases urinary fluid and sodium excretion and decreases glomerular filtration rate[1]. Animal Model:
