| Description | Palmitoyl-Cys((RS)-2,3-di(palmitoyloxy)-propyl)-Ala-Gly-OH also called Pam3Cys-Ala-Gly-OH, Pam3CAG, is a synthetic lipopeptide analog, it corresponds to the N-terminal region of a bacterial lipoprotein, it is a potent activator of macrophages. It is suggested that the uptake of Pam3CAG into macrophages involves the aggregation of membrane proteins. |
