Description Moth Cytochrome C (MCC) Fragment also called MCC Fragment, (Gln99)-Moth Cytochrom C Fragment (88-103), MCC (88-103), ANERADLIAYLQQATK, is an antigenic peptide that prevents the development of mature 2B4 TCRhi CD4+8+ thymocytes. This analog, containing Gln at residue 99 instead of Lys, competitively blocks antigen induced IL-2 production by the 2B4 hybridoma and it is therefore suggested that it is acting as a competitive antagonist.
