Description MMP Substrate IV also called TNO003, is a selective fluorogenic (FRET) matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) substrate. The kcat/Km value for MMP-3 (Stromelysin-1) is 29.000 M-1s-1, for MMP-13 13.000 M-1s-1, and for MMP-9 7.500 M-1s-1 (at pH 7.5, 25 °C). The fluorescence increase is monitored using an excitation wavelength of 360 nm and an emission wavelength of 490 nm. No activity against this substrate could be measured with MMP1, MMP-7, and MMP-8 (kcat/Km < 1000 M-1s-1).
