Description Leptin (22-56) (human) also called Obese Gene Peptide (22-56) (human), is a peptide with the seuqence of VPIQKVQDDTKTLIKTIVTRINDISHTQSVSSKQK. After central administration of this leptin (22-56) by feeding in the rat inhibition of food intake was observed. Leptin (22-56) depolarized rat hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus neurons. Leptin (22-56) was shown to enhance the proliferative activity of both the normal myometrium and myoma cells in primary culture.
